How To Wear Velvet

So I just realized that today is 10th! Where the heck did December go?!

I can’t believe that we only have 2 more weeks till Christmas. I have done ZERO shopping, and may or may not be slightly freaking out haha.

In all seriousness, though, I would love for time to slow down a bit. Christmastime is my absolute favorite time of the year and I love to enjoy every moment. Does anyone else feel that way too?

I am also currently battling the cold/flu with my little man. We haven’t left the couch all day, I sure hope it passes quickly!

Now on to today’s post. Has anyone else been digging the velvet trend? I have been seeing it all over and wasn’t sure if I could pull it off, but decided just to go for it and try it anyway.

I fell in love with this navy dress from Zaful. The color is perfect for the season and loved the length.

Since the weather is finally getting colder I paired it with a leather jacket, for an edgier look. I also felt like it just screamed, “wear a choker”  so I wore my super cute tassel one.
